Nancy joined Seeger Faughnan Mendicino PC in 2008. Nancy’s primary practice is commercial litigation, business disputes, employment law, and bankruptcy.
Having commenced her career with a boutique commercial law firm, Nancy has extensive experience in a wide variety of commercial issues from the origination of the entity, to restructuring, shareholder disputes or other “corporate divorces,” succession planning and the wind-up of its affairs and everywhere in between.
In this context, Nancy has also handled and advised companies related to creditor negotiations and the human resources and employment matters including complex litigation in the areas of non-compete agreements, Temporary Restraining Orders and injunction proceedings.
Nancy has seen her clients through successful bankruptcy and informal reorganizations and internal disputes that could have destroyed their business. It is her belief that most business disputes can be resolved short of the litigation when the parties are willing to take reasonable and pragmatic approaches to the issues confronting them. However, when the parties are unable to amicably resolve their disputes, Nancy is prepared to pursue litigation as an avenue to achieving the client’s goal and protecting their interests
